“Engineering-driven company, with some issues”
I have been working at Informatica full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Good learning environment, engineering-driven, large comfortable cubes, good compensation and benefits
Cons – Disjointed product lines, dsyfunctional build system, communication difficulty and much time spent due to global work force
Advice to Senior Management – Need to find focus on what strategy to pursue, esp now with mulitple product lines. Need to invest in increasing efficiency, this seems to be to always take second place, to responding to market pressure to deliver.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
