I have been working at Information Management Services

    Pros

flexible work hours; ability to work remotely; job stability since contracts are with the government; hourly pay instead of annual salary

    Cons

management plays favorites; annual bonuses are $25 gift cards to all while some managers and favorites get secret bonuses; lack of communication and information sharing outside of different project groups; lack of recognition for good efforts but mistakes are blown out of proportion

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

benefits package needs to be improved: need a 401k or similar plan where employees can contribute to their retirement, education assistance should be improved, vacation time should be improved and scaling should be adjusted; listen to all of your employees and don't fear criticism; encourage training and continued improvement for all employees

    Pros

    -Relaxed work environment
    -Free bagels on Fridays

-Guaranteed raises each year, pretty much everyone makes the exact same amount based on number of years there within ~ $1000
-Opportunities for people with little to no experience
    -9% profit sharing

    Cons

-Experience and education seen in a negative light
-Pay is below average for some positions
    -No IRA/401k contribution
-No chance to grow professionally (for some)
-Different standards for different employees (can be a pro for some)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat all employees equally and pay people based on merit AND seniority instead of just seniority
