I have been working at Infosys

    Pros

Enriching, extremely professional, truly Global outlook... their internal applications, employee care, benefits are excellent, atleast if you compare these to other indian software giants. Its the most respected company

    Cons

salary is median, you can definitely join a smaller company, where u can learn more, earn more.. but infosys is more like a stable job, you will be fitted into projects u r comfortable with and your work-life will be decided by the actual project you are in and your client relations. Infosys managers per say do not have any authority to do anything, other than approve your sick leave, they can refer you for salary increase, promotions, greencard processing etc, but its just a normal referral and every manager does this to satisfy his team member, so recognition is well within the team but not outside

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

you are doing good, even though salary is comparatively low, which is ok too.. employee benefits are excellent too, sr management communication to employees is great too. but there are a few factors like clarity about the road map of the employee, promotions, career path etc that should be there. For managers and above its great, for developers and testers their life is at the mercy of the projects only and management should do something about it. Greencard processing if promised, should be done, and should not back out of such initiatives hindering employee interest.
