Pros

1. Experience you can get 2. Many good employees 3. Ability to take projects in any city (based on your skillset and requirement)

Cons

1. Very Low salaries - always low ball offers 2. Expensive benefits 3. Not many growth opportunities - they want you to stick to a project and don't want to move you easily. 4. Too haphazard processes - helplines don't work, people who answer helplines answer as if they were napping and you are disturbing them! 5. Late responses to emails. 6. HR people are very low paid and there's no quality 7. I heard they don't sponsor green cards.

Advice to Management

1. Work on bringing workplace ethics. 2. Try to fix quality issues

I worked at Infosys as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The ability to intern in India and experience another culture is amazing. Infosys allows you to intern with them in a variety of departments because the organization more or less deals in every industry. Even though Infosys is a technology based company knowledge of computers or technology isn’t necessary. There is one weekend intern trip to Mysore that Infosys pays for.

    Cons

Little seems to get accomplished due to the work system. You are paired with a buddy once you arrive to your designated campus, but most people didn’t usually meet with their buddies nor get much out of that program. The legitimacy of your internship really depends on your project and those that tend towards the humanities offer more freedom while those in the sciences involve a lot of real work but also result in more tangible results.
