I worked at Ingram Micro full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Low expectations, not too stressful

Cons

Call center. Glorified sales position. Promotions are nothing more than a pay raise with the same responsibilities. Not merit based but more nepotism when asking for promotions.

I have been working at Ingram Micro full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

A steady paycheck. That's about it.

    Cons

If you are contemplating working for the Global IS group as a member of the finance team in particular, you should reconsider. This group experiences extremely high turnover (for good reasons). The first line management is very unprofessional, disorganized, territorial, inept at managing anything, and will overwork you (think 10-12 hours on average per day). If you have drive and come from a solid professional background, this will only be a temporary position. Once you do leave, expect vendictive and rude behavior. They have a history of this.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. They should know better after so many employees have left. Perhaps it's just time for new management.
