A place to spend no more than 1-2 years while mulling other opportunities.

    Pros

Interesting opportunities to do good work in international education. Work travel opportunities. Very 9-5 schedule. It's a good place if you just need a job while considering other options. Many people leave and come back and leave as they deem necessary (revolving door).

    Cons

Very low pay, especially compared to other non-profits. Little growth opportunity. Lack of incentives. You're kind of stuck where you come in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase the pay. Give employees more opportunities

    Pros

I enjoy my job -- it's interesting, the work is challenging and it comes with some good travel opportunities -- who can say no to that!

    Cons

Unfortunately the pay is low, at least compared to other non-profits I've worked at. Also, it's very gender-unbalanced -- mostly women by far.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I love my boss -- so reasonable, rational, understands where I am coming from, always on my side, and someone I feel like I can speak to for advice.
