I have been working at Intel Corporation

    Pros

    Good pay & benefits
Great work/life balance (though varies depending on how close your job is tied to manufacturing)
Sabbaticals offered to full time employees after every 7 years of employment

    Cons

Large company - experiences vary depending on subculture of work group
    Little/few promotions given
Managers not skilled at career development of their employees
Changes are slow and often painful within the company
Very conservative company; risk taking is not as valued as company advocates.
