Former Employee – worked at Intel Corporation
Pros – With good pay, good benefits, you will meet a lot of interesting and highly skilled people at Intel. Though it may vary by site location and group, there is undoubtedly a lot of interesting projects and technology here. Good opportunities for continuing career education. Nice facilities for the most part (excepting the fabs).
Cons – Poor work/life balance, performance reviews can be cut throat. There is a political aspect to the scene, and you may see your first level manager rotate in and out jockying for more coveted positions. 401k takes seven years to vest.
Advice to Senior Management – Hold more frequent 1:1's, provide more feedback.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
