Pros

With good pay, good benefits, you will meet a lot of interesting and highly skilled people at Intel. Though it may vary by site location and group, there is undoubtedly a lot of interesting projects and technology here. Good opportunities for continuing career education. Nice facilities for the most part (excepting the fabs).

Cons

Poor work/life balance, performance reviews can be cut throat. There is a political aspect to the scene, and you may see your first level manager rotate in and out jockying for more coveted positions. 401k takes seven years to vest.
