I have been working at Intel Corporation

    Pros

Good training and access to knowledgeable colleagues; Good corporate values; Strong ethics; Diverse and well funded ventures

    Cons

Insular and conservative at times; Hard to get opportunity in your area expertise if you are not a top engineer; Hard to rise within the ranks and equally hard to survive if they bring you in as an experienced hire

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lead the industry again. Right now Apple is leading, but customers need a strong horizonal player like Intel to set standards.

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Reasonable salaries and benefits. Clearly implemented rules and regulations. Clear career's paths depending on yearly achievements and agreed fields for employee's development.

    Cons

Long time needed for a most of decision taking. Not enough authonomy for local (first line) managers. BUREAUCRACY is still alive there even though management tries to bust it.

    Positive Outlook
