“Short sighted management”
Former Employee – worked at Intel Corporation full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Good Employee benefits and perks including free ride back & forth to office , free food on some days in a month, great infrastructure
Cons – Management lacks the longer vision to growth the site vis-a-vis with other Intel Sites across the globe. Highly intelligent people are wasted in doing maintenance releases. Managers are busy dealing with improving their ratings (provided anonymously by their team members). In short, managers are quite busy but I am not sure why they are busy ?
Advice to Senior Management – Implement Agile methodology and see how Intel's age old system would crumble and would make way for new generation of people to lead this organization...
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
