Good place for Electrical Engineer if you dont mind the politics

Component Design Engineer (Current Employee) Folsom, CA

ProsGreat place for a electrical engineer. But you need to be very competitive and able to handle politics. Took me a while getting good at the latter.

ConsIf you walk in with experience, you will land a good salary . If you start as a rcg or intern, you will earn much less. The company prefers to pay more in stocks and less annual salary. Growth to next level is very very slow. Awesome work/life balance.

Advice to Senior ManagementChange the grading system so people advance well. Need to take more challenges instead of just being stuck with status quo - processors.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
