I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Great place for a electrical engineer. But you need to be very competitive and able to handle politics. Took me a while getting good at the latter.

Cons

If you walk in with experience, you will land a good salary . If you start as a rcg or intern, you will earn much less. The company prefers to pay more in stocks and less annual salary. Growth to next level is very very slow. Awesome work/life balance.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the grading system so people advance well. Need to take more challenges instead of just being stuck with status quo - processors.

    Pros

Intel has enormous resources, and it is a great company to work for. It is exciting and fast-paced.

    Cons

The salaries can be low if you are not an engineer. It is a "boy's club." You rarely see women in higher positions.
