Pay for the location and job responsibilities is fair.

Cons

Expectation is for long hours and full time dedication to solve whatever the problem at hand is. Very poor work-life balance, especially for managers.

    Large company that provide opportunity to experience different functions without having to switch companies.

    Cons

    Lack of innovation, bureaucratic environment, stagnating career growth, and danger of learning the Intel way that makes you unemployable in many other companies.

    Got to work with some great people in architecture. Learned a ton.

    Cons

    Some organizations are less well equipped than others to develop your career long term. When applying, ask around about the grade levels and responsibilities of people you'll be working with to get a sense for whether anyone ever moves up.
