“From Design Engineer to Strat Planner”
I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Intel is so large that it provides the opportunity to grow your career and try new things without changing companies.
Cons – There is a lot of bureaucracy. Decisions take forever and there is no clear path to the decision makers. Silos within the company prevent great innovation
Advice to Senior Management – Realize the phones and tablets are the future, invest accordingly. Make some hard choices and stick with them, and ensure that the executives are truly aligned and not just paying lip service.
