    Pros

Know the cutting edge technology through training, meeting with seniors and learning from peers. Very smart engineers are easy to reach.

    Cons

Personal career growth can hardly be triggered, and you are very invisible and indistinguishable. The company is filled with a lot smart people but many positions are duplicated.

    Advice to Management

Let the engineers fully solve the hard problem before reporting progress. Let the engineers collaborate with each other.

    Pros

A lot of opportunity, large company, great growth opportunities

    Cons

Large company - can get lost in the ocean, culture is slower than other technology firms (e.g. Apple, Google), slower to keep up the technology with Apples/Googles, but eventually catches up. A lot of "dead wood" employees who hide in cubicles and rot to retirement

    Advice to Management

Clear strategy - let go of the "good ol days" - yes, you started an industry, but don't die "resting on your 'old days' mentality. A lot of "dead wood" employees who hide in cubicles and rot to retirement - get them out, return to the entrepreneurial atmosphere.
