    Pros

Working as Lead has the opportunity to interact with many experts from several teams (power, thermal, mechanical, manufacturing, hardware, signal integrity, etc.), and this allows you to develop technical skills quickly.
If you are able to survive to 1 or 2 projects (as lead), you start to see the complete picture of project development. Over time you start to understand the limits and scope of the role to make a platform board a reality.
    It is really challenging ambient.
Most of the people are willing to provide support and help when needed.

    Cons

Too much work, some times have to work overtime.
Really hard to maintain work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

I know, it is important to keep the business running, but it is also important the perception of the people that is making the impossible a possibility. Need to create strategies to share personal learnings to upper management (jump 1 or 2 management levels)...

  2. Good Company with very talented people

    Pros

    1. Great work culture.
    2. Opportunity to work on cutting edge technology
    3. Opportunity to learn from highly capable and talented people around

    Cons

Too slow in terms of decision making.

    Advice to Management

Trust your younger employees, keep watch on middle management. Keep evaluating the relevance of middle management, keep watch on employees working in comfort zones w/o justifying their current roles and responsibilities.
