I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of stability and job security. Facilities are good. People are generally kind. If you're decent at what you do, you can go at it for years and have the freedom to do it your way. Internal HR/payroll processes are seamless.

    Cons

Over-focused on execution, limited room for innovation or professional growth outside the "approved" course. First line management are generally nice guys but incompetent magisterially. No real interest or focus on employee development. Too many processes with too much time wasted mundane things. Complete addiction to e-mail: many managers spend 90% of their time in front of Outlook.

    Advice to Management

Get out of your cubicles and out of Outlook: start seeing the real world and catching up with the competition. Not everything can be accomplished on "the bridge" or via e-mail.
