Pros

Great exposure to various financial functions and a lot of ability to guide your own career. Also, finance is relatively safe (lay-off wise), compared to other areas. Intel also pays quite well for the Oregon area though if you choose to leave, you'll probably take a bit of a pay cut

Cons

Flattening the organization makes it difficult to make it to manager-level. Also, since Intel is such a large company, it's very easy to disappear and become a cog. This may be worthwhile for you but the yearly reviews are all about how you stand out?

The culture is also very strong and relatively aggressive. You need to make sure you're good with this.

Recommends
Neutral Outlook
Approves of CEO

    Pros

Met a lot of great people during my internship. Got exposure to different parts of the company. Intel is vertically integrated so that is very cool.

    Cons

Some bureuacracy. A lot of people spend their whole careers at Intel.

    Pros

Influence on world class technology, great products. Big variety of products - from biomedical chips to chips for supercomputers. Diversity of teams - hardware, software design, chips and packaging. High level of research in some teams.

    Cons

Sometime slow movement. Orientation to high volume production and high level quality is good for products with very high volume, but game should be changed for diversity of products with relatively small profit margins.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
