I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent 401K Investments, good bonuses if you are higher up... I am not. Very good education benefits.

    Cons

Pay structure is heavily vested towards bonuses and stocks rather than salary, work life balance is talked about but not followed through, poor commitment to software development, the company is full of ladder climbers, management is constantly throwing their teams under the bus, everyone is playing politics.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Loosen up and let your teams self motivate, the seems to be an influx of micromanagers who have their fingers in too many pies. A coworker of mine termed it micro-meddling which is a very apt term for most Intel managers.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
