I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great people, good benefits and pay. Must be willing to work hard in order to advance.

    Cons

currently it is hard to advance due to job cuts, pay rasises have been minimal the last few years for Technicians and starting engineers. It seems every few years there are job cuts and you have to worry if you will be affected. Senority does not matter for advancement or for getting released.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Rank employees based on output and performance. Be loyal to long term employees.

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Intel provides finance employees with the opportunity to rotate through various functions (capital, strategy, reporting, cost….) on an 18 to 24 moth cycle. It's a great place to learn your craft. Spend some time there and you can go work anywhere.

Plenty of opportunities to relocate as well, including opportunities to go ex-pat.

    Cons

Compensation is adequate…that's all. A big part of T-comp is, or at least was, tied to share price which has remained stagnant for years and there's little that the typical employee can do about it.
