I worked at Intel Corporation as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

excellent peers and supervisor. exposure to most latest technologies available and get to see what exactly happens in the industry.

Cons

lot of chaos. doesn't let an intern explore beyond the job roles. Unlike the actual norm of interns are groomed for future positions uses interns to generally work on some random stuff to get the work done and leave.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

can venture into new markets and can be more consumer oriented

Neutral Outlook
Approves of CEO

Current Employee - Process TD Engineer in Hillsboro, OR

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Challenging problems and a clear mission statement make the work exciting and rewarding. The compensation and benefits are competitive.

    Cons

A good work-life balance can be challenging to find. The 24-7 demands of the fab are often overwhelming and the culture in the fab is militaristic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maintaining Moore's law will require innovating across all aspects of the development process including staffing and organizational structure. Just asking employees to work more days in a week and more hours per day can't scale.
