Former Employee - Manufacturing Technician in Rio Rancho, NM

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Unique culture, great support in all aspects of work/life, benefits are the best.

    Cons

With automation comes layoffs. If you do not advance into a programmer/engineer role you probably will not be there long. I was able to use that educational assistance to attain a Bachelors degree, but it was not enough to prevent loosing my job to a robot.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just remember that your foundation was built on people who did not have a masters degree and were willing to work hard to actually make things.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Skill growth and development were always encouraged as well as immediate approval for career advancement opportunities and training.

    Cons

Office Politics between employees too green for their position could sometimes prove challenging.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I've always been impressed with the open door policy at Intel and how easy it was to communicate without escalation.
