Quite disorganized and slow in making decisions
Management has little control by the organization creating opportunities for abuse of power.
Good example of how very intelligent individuals are not very smart a group.
The concept of empowerment of employees is foreign for the organization.
Nobody is allowed to make decisions alone. All decisions are made in groups thus being slow and not very smart.

    Pros

People from all over Latin America.
Projects tend to have a big impact in peoples lives.
Benefits are great if you're a staff member.
Consultants get 2 days off every month.

    Cons

Politics will get in the way of getting things done.
High turn over, since people most people are hired as consultants.
Consultant contracts get renewed very late in the game.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire consultants for consultancy work and staff members for everything else. You end up saving a little money upfront, but lose a lot of knowledge in the process.
