InterContinental Hotels Applications Developer in Atlanta, GA:   (Past Employee - 2006)

Pros

Location. It's close to the perimeter instead of being out in the boonies like Alpharetta or Duluth. Also, some of the people are very smart and talented.

Cons

Horrible management. The people there are not fun to work with. They look like they're always stressed out. The senior level people are arrogant and act like dicks. I don't get praised for doing a good job, yet get chewed out for doing bad. Also, I was paid a lot less that what I was suppose to be doing. Also, it difficult to become full time worker there. They only hire contractors.

Advice to Senior Management

Don't act like a dick to your workers just because someone is new, a contractor, or is not a manager level. Find some humility and some social skills.
