InterContinental Hotels – “Great people and company, needs a bit of work on taking care of their employees”
Pros
Good people, generally speaking...
Benefits are OK.
Seems like the majority of the leadership 'gets it' - some leadership act as cowboys and don't want to work with other teams. Sometimes think their way is the best way and won't work with other leadership to collaborate.
They seem to greatly value work/life balance
Cons
need to focus more on training employees and on treating employees fairly when it comes to promotions and when it comes to recognition and feedback.
Some employees are treated unfairly, but not purposefully. Too much red tape and politics going on in the background, keeping some people down unfairly.
Advice to Senior Management
make employees happy and the business will take care of itself.
