I worked at Intergraph full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Tremendous long term middle management team, world class technology

Cons

Poor marketing, product positioning. Focus on security diminished R&D, Sales et al on other divisions, which I beleieve will accelerate under new owners

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell government, utility business divisions to focus on core solutions. or position solutions as a sub to major industry players

I have been working at Intergraph full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good work environment (for now) until we get put in the new call-center style building. For the most part the staff is very friendly, benefits are good and employee functions are well organized and fun. Great for a starter or entry level position.

    Cons

Everything is run by politics which gets quite frustrating at times, it is difficult to move up due to the politics and the pay is much lower than other companies in the area.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to the guys actually doing the work.
