I have been working at Interim HealthCare (more than 5 years)

Pros

There isn't a lot of room for promotion I will be leaving here soon. I love one on one care.

Cons

Management does not listen at least in my area. RNs sign waivers agreeing to not be paid overtime. LPNs struggle for hours but RNs work 70 hours a week due to policies. Pay is way below industry standard.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Check your policies in Southeastern Indiana at least. We don't need fancy company cars when half of your nurses have no benefits and can't get hours.

I worked at Interim HealthCare full-time

    Pros

Lots of training.....even though I didn't need it because I've been practicing for 10 years...it would be good for new grads

    Cons

They make you sign a contract that you'll stay there for six months.....or you have to pay them $500.....this and they couldn't even give me full time work. Schedulers were not very honest. extremely low pay

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

tell employees about this contract BEFORE they take all their training.....in other words....during employment interview.

I worked at Interim HealthCare part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Getting experience in the health field

    Cons

Working an hour here and there. Multiple times a day. You end up sitting around between clients hours each day, and not getting paid for it. You have to drive to their homes, but you don't get gas money back. We were told that we were going to get a sign on bonus, but we never got it. We were told that we were going to be given CPR classes, but we never got them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest to employees and give match shifts better.
