No opinion of CEO

Pros

Mostly professional environment, large company with many departments and functions. One of the larger companies in Jax, good networking opportunity.

Cons

Lack of information sharing, confusion among managment regarding job positions and requirements. Lack of upward mobility and opportunity. Gets caught up in the red tape frequently.

Advice to Management

Managment needs to communicate clearly amongst themselves before approaching employees - don't give conflicting information before verifying. Need more comraderie events and team-building exercises - everyone right now just does their "own" job and doesn't care for/appreciate anyone elses.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Co-workers helpful, friendly. The company sells good products at a fair price, and are products that are needed by customers. Several people at the company with many years of service, reflecting a high degree of loyalty to the company.

    Cons

While many employees are loyal to the company, there have been several layoffs during the past few years and it appears it may continue for some time. Many employees with long tenure have been terminated. Top management out of touch, do not relate well to people.

    Advice to Management

Too much focus on cost-cutting and spreadsheets. Need to listen to customers and employees about what's going on at the front lines.
