Pros

Great environment to work in; caring for people and making a difference in their lives. IHC really provides a positive work environment

Cons

Communication issues with upper management, and big Ego's to deal with

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Doing a great job, but would be nice for the lower guys on the totem pole to have a voice once in a while without being afraid of retaliation from their Directors

    Pros

Lifetime employment. They won't fire you for average performance. It's a stable company with a monopoly grip on the market in Utah. Pretty good benefits.

    Cons

Doesn't pay the average - they say they do. Not much mobility upwards in some departments as people generally work there till they retire. Not an up or out mentality.

Current Employee - Senior Software Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT

    Pros

    Decent Work
    Relaxed - no pressure
    Secured Job

    Cons

Aged resources are rigid, not open to ideas
No centralized decision making. Kinda dysfunctional
    Not delivery oriented

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Giving carrot is good, but not giving a stick (to non-performing) is a disaster. Because If both the rabbit & turtle get the same carrot , then rabbit runs away and all the you will be left will be turtles.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
