I have been working at International Biometric

Pros

Emerging technologies and subject matter. Ability to work across functional areas including policy, strategy, research and development, and technical integration.

Cons

Lack of structure due to rapid growth. Expected work hours and level of effort are very project-specific. Many projects, but can be difficult to move between them without being very proactive.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue building internal infrastructure as company grows. Turn individual consulting capabilities into repeatable processes. Encourage company-wide events across all locations.

I have been working at International Biometric

    Pros

IBG gives you great opportunity for rapid advancement, as well as large amounts of responsibility early on in your career. There is a great opportunity for increased compensation in a short amount of time, and a chance to grow in directions that you are most interested in. Great for entry level consultants, or anyone looking to make a career in the Biometric industry.

    Cons

There are very high expectations of Employees. You need a flexible personal life during crunch times if you aren't able to manage your time very well. Large responsibility means more of an opportunity to fail if you aren't able to manage expectations. There is a danger of experience and education being too focussed within one industry, which may limit your career options.

    I worked at International Biometric

    Pros

ability to propel your own career, ability to establish a relationship with the owners of the firm, ability to work autonomously, unlimited vacation policy, emphasis on creativity

    Cons

working in an unstructured environment is a double edged sword - there is freedom but little direction. be prepared to tread water for a year at least before you are able to participate in a meaningful way.
