Pros – Flexible work schedule
Culture of innovation and leadership
Truly exciting products
Great employees
Great benefits
Truly ethnically diverse work environment
Very good compensation

Cons – It gets really hot in Las Vegas in the summer
It gets really windy when it's not hot
The water here is awful
More experienced employees often complain too much
Internet connections have too many ports closed off (IT is rightfully paranoid of attacks)

Advice to Senior Management – Management and direction at International Game Technology has been much criticized. Both internally and externally. There is a corporate culture that enables this criticism, and it does not reflect well on the company. The employees need to have more of a sense of pride in their company, and if they don't like it, quit first, and look for work second, or else keep criticisms to yourself. Whether it is in the break room or on a publicly accessible website, we do not need employees being critical of management which is faced with very difficult economic times. That time could be better spent in more productive ways. It's time to hunker down and get to work, not question leadership.
