Amazing place for an internship, with many opportunities to learn!

I worked at International Rescue Committee as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The best part of working for free/interning were the many opportunities to get involved with different types of work. The office is constantly busy, so there is definitely lots to do! Even though I hate to admit it, at times the work got dull, but depending on who you work for there could be room to seek mentorship, take a longer lunch, or help out in a different part of the office during those really dull days.

    Cons

None, except not much room to move up to a hired/paid position unless you speak one of the key languages in the office.

I worked at International Rescue Committee as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Great company to have on your resume. You work with passionate people who are happy to have your help.

    Cons

Very disorganized. People don't really have time to deal with interns. Not a lot of feedback on job performance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a more structured internship program.
