Former Employee – worked at IntraLinks full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Good brand awareness and momentum in the core markets of M&A. US based execs and US sales teams are getting their act together and executing.
Cons – Highly political, but of the damaging sort. Commercial models and customer acquisition strategies have not kept pace with those of fast-maturing competitors such as Box and Huddle. To capture the international enterprise opportunity, the platform needs to be able to support clients who object to their data being hosted in the US which it currently only pretends to do.
Advice to Senior Management – Respect the long serving people, their knowledge and expertise. They have a passion for the company that needs to be tapped, coached and developed - not trodden on. Bringing cronies in as "yes" men is doomed as a strategy. EMEA needs fixed now that the US is on a path.
