I have been working at Intralinks

Pros

Good pay, flexible work schedule, laid back management

Cons

Too much change. I have had four managers to report to in one year, with role change at least twice.

Advice to Management

Stabilize your vision for the company's products. Try to prevent management from moving around so much.

    Pros

Good brand awareness and momentum in the core markets of M&A. US based execs and US sales teams are getting their act together and executing.

    Cons

Highly political, but of the damaging sort. Commercial models and customer acquisition strategies have not kept pace with those of fast-maturing competitors such as Box and Huddle. To capture the international enterprise opportunity, the platform needs to be able to support clients who object to their data being hosted in the US which it currently only pretends to do.

    Advice to Management

Respect the long serving people, their knowledge and expertise. They have a passion for the company that needs to be tapped, coached and developed - not trodden on. Bringing cronies in as "yes" men is doomed as a strategy. EMEA needs fixed now that the US is on a path.
