ConsLack of interdepartmental coordination/assistance
Huge internal barriers to meaningful change
Ineffective hiring practices (non-technical individuals being hired to tech support)

Advice to Senior ManagementThere needs to be more clearly defined process to help coordinate work between functional groups.
