“Lots of room for activities...”
Former Employee – worked at Intuit as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – Employee perks, gym, vacation, training.
Cons – If your a contractor don't expect a full time opportunity. They keep a low head count and ramp up for tax season. The draw a distinct line between employee and contractor ... example, contractors and not invited to annual company party, pay for gym, etc, etc.
Advice to Senior Management – Challenge your FTE's more... many contractors are eager to take their place.
