    A very dynamic environment, innovation is a major component of the work. It is rewarded and appreciated.

    Clashes between old school and new ideas hinders progress.

    Great entry level company. Use as a stepping stone, do not get too comfortable.

    Good benefits & good work environment/facility.

    Cons

    This is purely from experience in IT. I hear great things from Intuit employees, except from those in IT.

    Company does not reward longevity across the board. Select individuals seem to be rewarded, but those that actually do the work are not, just used. Too many managers focused on managing their own advancement and not paying enough attention to the day to day. Too much concern overall on looking good and telling a good story as opposed to letting the work speak for itself. Too often people are moved around to positions they don't qualify for, setting up the company and the individual for failure. Senior management is typically only in your corner if you agree to whatever they say. They aren't interested in hearing anything else typically.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get involved. Spend some time actually understanding what your employees are doing. Perhaps then you will be able to make informed decisions since you have most, if not everyone, too afraid to give you real feedback. Stop hooking up cronies and brown noses with positions they should never have had. Again, i can't stress this enough....get involved, spend time on what's around and below you, instead of continually propagating the "Manage Above" mentality. A table still needs 4 legs no matter how badly you want to remove a leg or two.
