Pros

Awesome, friendly people. Industry-leading products. Great rotational program for recent college grads. Smart, charismatic CEO who you can trust is making good decisions.

Cons

Upward career mobility is slow and getting a title promotion takes years. The reason I left was that I was offered a job level at another company that would have taken me 2-3 years to achieve at Intuit.

Advice to Management

IF there is an attrition issue, offer more competitive salaries and career development opportunities to keep your best employees.

    Pros

There are some bright people who care about doing good work.

    Cons

The leadership is very weak, and the most fundamental business principles are not followed. Some top level men are rewarded for coming up with dreams that are not grounded in reality, and there is no consequence if the company wastes money following stupid dreams and plans that don't materialize into anything.

Thoughtful, methodical approaches to running a business are not valued.

    Advice to Management

The company's values are great but they are not being followed in many ways.

    Pros

Great benefits, the people who work there are amazing, time to give back to the community via We Care Give Back

    Cons

No one from management knows whats going on when things get rough. Things are poorly managed, no information given to employees with regards to outages or updates. Too many re-orgs, trying to act like a small business but in all of the bad practices. Managers usually have no idea whats going on, are in constant meetings and don't actually "manage"

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to employees and don't just give lip service to their input.
