    I worked at Invesco

    Pros

It's one of the world's largest asset management firms, with a tremendous breadth of product offerings.

    Cons

Invesco does not operate as one entity. Instead each group (internally referred to as investment centers) operates independently. This means the growth opportunities that should exist as your career blossoms are simply not possible at invesco.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior management has a background in accounting and cost cutting. This may have helped initially, but it's time to embrace the dynamic market place and truly serve clients' needs.

Way too much expected of staff, no work life balance

I have been working at Invesco

    Pros

Some of the best people I have ever worked with. Maybe because a tough environment brings out the best in people

    Cons

Excessive working hours, crazy workloads and very little recognition of what is expected of staff on a daily basis. The current job market should not be used as an excuse for staffing levels being cut when not required or appropriate

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at what is going on around you and not just at headcount and numbers.

    No opinion of CEO
