I have been working at Invesco full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Some of the best portfolio managers work at Invesco. Not only are they good at their jobs - most are able to explain their process in English - not Finglish.

    Cons

It is a very horizontal organization and very political. It you are not high up in the organization and don't have political connections, you don't have a chance to grow and develop.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Employee surveys don't tell the whole story. Take the opportunity to speak to those on the lower rungs of the ladder.

I have been working at Invesco full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Decent health and matching 401k

    Cons

Consistently underpays compared to market. Little support from management for change. A$$ kissing gets advancement. Management has its own "class", worker bees aren't part of that culture and suffer. Little to no training to improve your job skissl

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Move into the modern era. Training and pay go a long way. Weed out managers who are promoted way beyond their abilities.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
