Pros

Ability to work independently as well as on a team. Ability to conduct own research on various types of investments.

Cons

This company provides little to no benefits at all (Health, dental...) and the office in the new york firm is a miserable place to conduct business. 100% cold-calling for bringing in new business!

Advice to Management

I would suggest getting an office upgrade/make-over and try to expand business by other means than cold-calling. I would also consider increasing salary to recruit/maintain more talent.

    Pros

Great home office support, technology platforms and no proprietary product pressure. High payouts for individual branches that pay their own expenses. Part of the second largest independent broker channel under the RSC Capital (RCAP) family of companies which includes a nationwide independent financial advice network, a wholesale distribution division and investment research, technology, investment banking and capital markets businesses.

    Cons

No affordable healthcare benefits and very high ($3,700/year) required E & O insurance.

    Pros

Sponser you for your series 7

    Cons

you will be cold calling for 9-10 hrs a day with maybe a 30-60 min break, prospecting for clients who dont need more financial advice, reading off a shitty script that rarely works anymore, get your lisence and jumpy ship asap to a wirehouse

    Advice to Management

teach trainees financial side of being a broker, not just being a telemarketer reading off a script
