I worked at Ipsos

Pros

The only good thing I can say about this place is the benefit package. Vacation time and insurance aren't bad.

Cons

-Severely over-worked and WAY under paid
-No work-life balance
-Unfair promotions
-Turns a blind eye to incompetent employees, while the good workers have to pick up the slack
-No recognition, morale is VERY low, how hard it is really to say thanks?

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Acknowledge your employees and the work they do!! Most of management is unresponsive to the lower level employees, they basically live in a bubble.

    Rude, dismissive senior management. Disappointing.

    I worked at Ipsos

    Pros

    Global reach and usually profitable

    Cons

Departments totally in silos, nobody knows what's going on or wants to make a decision. I'd always had great respect for this company - until I worked there. It was a disappointment. Like anyplace of course it depends on your specific role and manager too. But the truth was that I was not at all impressed with what I saw or heard. My respect for the company faded fast once I was inside.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dont buy companies and rip to shreds everything that was good about them, especially if you are lacking those qualities in your company. Be honest and straightforward about what's coming next, otherwise you appear dishonest and disingenuous.
