Pros

Recognized company - global Basic Hours and overtime only when absolutely necessary Friendly

Cons

No room for growth Unless you are the manager's friend or in their good books, you dont really get recognized for your hard work or get promoted Poor compensation

Advice to Management

In terms of management, they really need to do something about performance reviews as these are not taken seriously. Career progression is almost close to nil. Employees need to know they are working towards an objective.

    Pros

    - Good office location - Nice people (but too fake and shallow) - Quite a lot of freedom in how you complete the work (BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE QUICKLY)

    Cons

Personal experience - Very mundane and repetitive work - Only interested in getting data and making pretty tables, little actual research, analysis or recommendations - Disapproval from fellow colleagues when leaving at 6:30pm or earlier (the contract finish time is 5:30pm here), everyone expects everyone to do overtime. - Very, very financially driven with sales charts (like insurance companies) and expect teams to keep developing new businesses consistently - Office is quite serious and quiet - Very strong emphasis on social standing within the office (some higher level research staff look down on non-research staff who might have less education and poorer English abilities) Observation of other more senior colleagues - Have several large projects per person, with little to no help from others, just have final reports reviewed by the team head (leading to a lot of stress and responsibility. The increased responsibility means that they can't even take time off work easily when they are sick or has something special on because there is too much that only they know how to handle) - Work till 1am on a regular basis and still expected to arrive at work pretty early (before 10am) the next day

    Advice to Management

Please take better care of your colleagues. As a company of course it is important to earn money, but is it really necessary to scrape for practically every single penny you can get your hands on at the cost of your employees? I think not.

    Pros

We have lots of fun together, the people are great and they make this a fun place to work

    Cons

Low salary, OK benefits, they are not keeping up with the competition.

    Advice to Management

Offer more growth opportunities and career advancement opportunities.
