I have been working at Ipsos full-time (more than an year)

Pros

-Colleagues: the best of the best. Best colleagues I have ever had in my life.
- Office: our office in London Bridge is amazing. Comfortable, open plan and facing the times.
- Relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

- Low pay and little of no increase.
- Once you reach a point you don't learn much (but remember this is only my experience)
- No career path

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think things are improving. Our direct managment has lots of good ideas that will make us grow professionally. On higher ranks I am not sure they want that.

I have been working at Ipsos

    Pros

Lots of knowledge sharing and training opportunities. Company really invests in its employees, which is nice. There's a very collaborative environment with a focus on teamwork and work/life balance. Management is smart (but Operations groups are resistant to change).

    Cons

Lot's of red tape (it's a large global firm). As a result, innovation and processes are slow. The organization is very silo'd. There is a lot of room for efficiency. Clients don't like how slow moving our projects are. Despite positive feedback and praise, it's hard to get promoted. While they don't say it, promotions appear to be based more off seniority than merit. If you're will to climb the ladder slowly, than this is the place for you!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cross training should be key. Require those in client service have a more technical background to ensure they can put out fires with operations teams.
