Pros

Telecomuting was an option, Gym falcilites (new), not much more than that.

Cons

No formal training (go home and snuggle up with a pdf) , Boston management show a professional front, but permeate Dr Hyde, Mr. Jeckle management style. Failure to communicate effectively ... plausible deniability The management appears to make decisions and achieve poor results, then fix then and pat themselves for a good job.... They shine away from how they got to the problem the first place....

Advice to Management

The VP level needs to be replaced, their all first timers.... Get some seasoned professionals in there.

    Pros

Support from your VP. VP of FIeld HR was always very supportive and gave credit where it was due. Great place to grow your career and start out.

    Cons

Middle management in HR lacks ability to relate to staff. East coast staff is very bereaucratic and stereotyped certain team members while West coast field HR Staff seemed to run tighter operations and preached on career development and gave challenging objectives.

    Advice to Management

Do not promote someone just because their technical skills off the charts. They need to be able to lead with integrity and know how to empoer and not surpress their people.

    Pros

It's a company that is changing a lot in a very short time. A good moment to be in the company to learn about the strategic thinking behind a structural change.

    Cons

Poor communication with the employees because the future of the company is not clear.

    Advice to Management

Allow more communication with the employees to give them the opportunity to participate more actively in the changes that the corporation is going thru.
