Pros

Iron Mountain is a large and stable company that compensates its employees well.

Cons

It is difficult to introduce change into this staid organization.

Advice to Management

Get some new blood with expertise from outside the organization to mix things up a bit.

    Pros

The thing that worked for me was that I got to work on things up to a certain point. It helped me learn more things. The telecommuting was a wonderful thing as being in the office was stressful and uncomfortable. If you are looking to hide in a corner and do a limited amount of work then this is the place for you.

    Cons

Departments are very territorial and each team is looking out for themselves. A lot of finger pointing, but not a lot of accomplishments (They haven't learned about "united we stand, divided we fall".) Directors like to use jargon without much thought as to how things can be done. No clear vision.

    Advice to Management

When people complain and it falls on deaf ears then people are going to get upset and frustrated. Too many people have been hired that don't know or understand what the people below them are supposed to do and it shows. You can't fix any processes or situations if you don't know what you are talking about.
