Iron Mountain Inc Account Manager in Orlando, FL:   (Past Employee - 2006)

Pros

They are defintely the leader in their industry. They have a solid foundation of facilities and support. Working for a large corporation you get good benefits. They offer a good employee stock purchase plan as well. The training is much better than it has been in the past.

Cons

Lack of long term vision. Not very many advancement opportunities for top performers. The middle manangement has been in place too long and they seem to retread the same people in different positions. They have become stagnant from the last ten years of being successful. You have a large target on your back from the competetion.

Advice to Senior Management

You need to cut out the surplus middle management. A youth movement is needed, something fresh to bring in changes. You have to get back to taking care of the customers and you cant raise prices every year 5% and not expect to lose valuable clients.
