Stressful and awful company

General Manager (Former Employee) San Diego, CA

ProsOnly at property level is a pro.

ConsHR department is really a joke. Nonexistent. Poor relationships upper Exec team has with their employees and property level leaders. The worst communication ever between Corp and properties. Upper Executive team has big egos. If you challenge them, give opinion that doesn't mirror theirs, you are most likely going to be fired. A lot of good GM's and Sales Managers fired for so called performance. Upper executive team allowed so much neglect through out the bankruptcy to hotels that they want a magic wand to erase and fix it ASAP. Not realistic. Fired great leaders for failing BSA or QA and or fire Sales for declining revpar. NO warnings just fire.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet a better HR program in place and give great leaders the opportunity to fix.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
