J. Alexander's – “good teamwork, decent pay”

Pros

Working as a server for J. Alexander's is very team-oriented, and it's easy to get to know other staff once you pass through the strenuous training program. Picking up shifts for extra money is always pretty easy, unless your location is very busy, and covering shifts is fairly easy if your location is reasonably staffed.

Cons

Schedules are set up to three months in advance, and you are responsible for covering any shifts in your weekly schedule that may fall on days when you have another engagement. Senior Management changes their minds about server uniforms every year or so, and some of them are way too formal for the upscale casual environment.
