    Pros

    Its a job if you need one quick and dont care what you get paid

    Cons

    You will be treated like crap. Pay sucks sometimes you end up getting paid $24 for a run that takes you 2 1/2 hours

    Learn to communicate amongst each other

    I have been working at J.B. Hunt (more than an year)

    Pros

    Excellent safety program, dayshift hours. Very Structured work environment, web based computer system is simple to undserstand.

    Cons

    One-word: Micro management. If you are mechanic, you will be yelled at for taking too long on a job. You won't go a week without the manager threatening to fire you if your time numbers are not good enough. If the manager or supervisor does not like how you are doing a job, they will stop you and try to get you to do it their way, all while yelling at you and insulting you. They really like to "crack the whip" at technicians and partsman. No matter how good you are, it is never enough for them. Management and Supervisors do not follow company policy on training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of unrealistic performance goals for you shop and just look at overall performance.
