Current Employee – been working at J. C. Penney full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Fair pay and benefits, fun environment, opportunity for advancement
Cons – Irregular schedules, poor work/life balance
The company claims they put the needs of employees first, yet they rely on computer programs for scheduling, which makes schedules and hours incredibly inconsistent for associates. The store manager can make or break your experience, as many tend to show favoritism. High turnover for supervisors/management.
Advice to Senior Management – Make schedules fair for employees, don't show favoritism
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
