    I worked at J. C. Penney full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Fun work environment - as managment trainee, you have more perks than the rest of the team - better pay, faster promotions, etc. It was fun to work with peers that were my age.

    Cons

Not very competitve pay, barely any raises or bonuses - if any. Long hours, lots of Saturdays and overall the management team at the facitilty I worked at had a low morale. Saw several lifetime management members get fired for no reason after uprooting their lives mutliple times for the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay better; dont make relocation the only deciding factor when promoting or making hiring decisions; help management to improve their performance instead of firing them with absolutely no warning.
